Oman Air planes

Oman Air has a fleet of 50 airliners manufactured by Airbus and Boeing, with the average age of the planes being 10 years. By 2025, all Boeing B737s will be replaced by modern B787s.

Airbus A330-200

Long liner (63.6 m) with improved multimedia entertainment system. Maximum range – 11,370 meters. Cruising speed – up to 860 km/h. Accommodates up to 226 passengers.

Airbus A330-300

A more streamlined version of the A330-200. By narrowing the fuselage, it was possible to increase the maneuverability of the aircraft while reducing fuel consumption by 5% compared to the A330-200.

Boeing B737-900ER

A classic Boeing airliner with increased capacity (up to 183 passengers). Oman Air management recognized the aircraft as insufficiently comfortable and will replace all B737s with more modern B787s by 2025.

Boeing B737 MAX 8

Compact version of the classic B737 with 162 seats. The range of flight without refueling is up to 6000 km. It is distinguished by a shorter body, length – 33.8 m.

Boeing 787-8

Long-body (66.7 m) passenger airliner for long-haul transportation. Range without refueling is 11,750 km, cruising speed is up to 900 km/h.

Boeing B787-9

A more powerful version of the B787 with 288 seats. Thanks to new Rolls-Royce engines it was possible to slightly increase the size of the vessel without loss of speed and increase in fuel consumption.
